Jokè started off her career in Insurance in 1990 with NICON Insurance in the ECOWAS Brown Card Scheme Bureau newly set up at the time to handle cross-border motor insurance liabilities.  She progressed within the company for over 10 years, developing the Bureau’s activities and processes whilst traveling the length and breadth of West Africa ensuring property damage, bodily injury and loss of life claims arising out of the use of motor vehicles were settled judiciously and expeditiously.

In 2002, Jokè joined Europ Assistance UK and Ireland (now Collinson Group) as a Technical Claims Specialist where she directed the Insurance Policy & Claims Training function for Travel Insurance and Private Medical Insurance encompassing claims administrators, claims handlers, helpline agents and telephone triage nurses.  She personally coached and mentored staff at various levels, and across diverse areas of the company into achieving professional qualifications in Insurance.  A keen interest in technology saw her remit extended to leading the implementation of digitization projects, ensuring rapid and efficient adoption by staff across both sites. She was honored with a long service award after 10 years of outstanding service.

Jokè returned to Nigeria in 2013 to join the newly revamped Coronation Insurance Plc in Lagos to establish a distinct and effective training enterprise. She became the Group Head, Human Resources with oversight over the company’s operations in Nigeria and Ghana, defining and driving strategic enhancements to achieve corporate objectives.
