Gbenga Ilori joined Coronation Life Assurance Ltd on the 1st of December 2020 as the Executive Director, Technical. He is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN), a member of the Technical committee of CIIN and Microinsurance Network.

He holds an MBA and a B.SC (Hons) in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos.

His experience spans across Microinsurance, Customer Experience, Brand management, Strategic marketing, Product development, Business strategy, Relationship management, Risk management and Finance.

Over the course of his career, He has held various senior management positions within the insurance industry while also championing key initiatives in companies like Royal Exchange Plc. and AIICO Insurance Plc. He was instrumental in championing the establishment of Annuity Desk in AIICO and trained the agency network on Annuity opportunity in Pension Reform Act while also pioneering the establishment of Microinsurance Business.
