Francis Denedo, was born in the 1970s, March 24th. He is the eldest of five children, went through primary, secondary and tertiary schools in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated from the prestigious Auchi Polytechnic in 1993 and worked briefly as an art teacher (instructor/demonstrator) at the University of Lagos, been a full-time studio artist, Francis Denedo enjoys experimentations, works with all sculptural media and had exhibited variously since 1997 to date. He had worked on various commissions, and his works are mainly in private collections both within and outside Nigeria.
