With over 40 years’ experience in the banking and financial services industry, Mrs. Neka Udezue is currently the Program Director of the Access Bank School of Banking Excellence. She is responsible for implementing various aspects of the capacity building component of Access Bank’s competitive strategy. Prior to taking up this very challenging responsibility, Neka, at different times, oversaw the implementation of corporate business plans in various strategic business units including marketing, treasury, business development and credit risk management at the Senior Management level in top tier banks including Access Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank and Continental Merchant Bank (formerly Chase Merchant Bank).

Her academic qualifications include a BS Accounting from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and an MBA Finance from DePaul University Chicago. She obtained her Blended Learning Certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD), Washington DC. She also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP 1) at the Lagos Business School and the Certificate in Training Practice (CTP) at the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, UK. She is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner (NLP University, Santa Cruz, California).

Neka Udezue holds membership of some professional bodies including the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IOD), Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), London; Association of MBA Executives, New York, USA; and the National Association of Black Accountants, New York, USA.

Neka has participated in many professional development programs in globally acclaimed learning centers (INSEAD, Singapore; The University of Chicago Booth School of Business; Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education; Stanford University Graduate School of Business; Columbia Business School, Dolce Norwalk Conference Center; Harvard Business School, Cambridge Massachusetts) with a focus on Value Creation for Owners, High Performance Leadership, and the Art and Practice of Leadership Development.
