Mr. Abayomi Shamusideen Ogunshola, is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (FCIIG) and a seasoned chartered insurance professional with over twenty (20) years track record in Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance Administration with wide experience in Risk Management and Marketing. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) and a Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM). Mr. Ogunshola holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Lagos State University, Nigeria.

Over the years, Mr. Ogunshola has garnered a wide wealth of skills and experience through various roles with reputable companies such as Equity Assurance Plc, Nigeria, Equity Indemnity Insurance Company Limited, National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria (NICON), Morrison Industries Plc, etc. where he has been one of the pillars of driving the transformational agenda across these organisations. Mr. Ogunshola is currently heads the Technical Division of Coronation Insurance Ghana LTD where he sees to the effective management of clients of the company through his expertise in premium computation, claims settlement and Reinsurance arrangements.

Prior to joining Coronation Insurance Ghana LTD, Mr. Ogunshola served as Head of Technical Operations at Equity Assurance (Ghana) Limited (Now Sunu Assurances) where he effectively reduced claims ratio of the company to an average of less than 25% (which was far below the industry ratio). He also improved the company’s profit by effectively managing the claims ratio of bond businesses to a record low of 5%.
