Mrs. Adebisi Lamikanra - Chairperson, Independent Non-Executive Director

Mrs. Adebisi Lamikanra is a result-oriented professional with over 37 years of experience in providing advisory services to various public and private sector clients (including financial services, consumer/industrial markets, manufacturing, energy and natural resources, technology, and government) within Nigeria, and the African region. Admitted as Partner in Andersen Nigeria in 1998, Mrs. Lamikanra has extensive experience in stakeholder management, strategy design and execution, driving/enabling business transformation and enterprise growth and consulting for the financial services industry. She commenced her professional career as an auditor and led audits of companies in several sectors of the economy and retired as the Head of Advisory Services in KPMG Nigeria on 30 September 2020.

Mrs. Lamikanra has a vast business network in Nigeria and across Africa and has developed strategic relationships with stakeholders across key sectors in both the private and public sector – well recognized in the business community in Nigeria and beyond. Passionate about developing people, Mrs. Lamikanra has coached and mentored several professionals occupying executive and senior positions in the business community.

Mrs. Lamikanra has served various key leadership roles including: Member, KPMG Nigeria Executive Committee; Chairman, KPMG West African Audit Quality Committee; Board member, KPMG West Africa Board ; Lead, Financial Services Africa; Lead, KPMG African Region Advisory Practice, Advisory Board of Enterprise Development Centre (Pan- Atlantic University). Treasurer of the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce Member, Member Financial services TWG responsible for developing the Nigeria’s Medium Term development plan; currently serving as Co-Chair, Women Corporate Directors (WCD) Nigerian chapter and Treasurer and Board Member of the Corona Schools Trust.

Mrs. Lamikanra is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and holds a BSc. in Economics from the University of Lagos. She has also completed professional development programmes in INSEAD, Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management, Lagos Business School, Nigeria, among others. She is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Coronation Securities Limited.
